First Place in Photography - Collective Visions Gallery

I'm honored to be awarded First Place in Photography at the 2013 Annual Washington State Juried Art Competition at the Collective Visions Gallery for my photo Chica en el Mercado de Abastos. The show was juried by Alfredo Arreguin, an internationally known painter from Seattle, and it includes work by 127 Washington State artists. The exhibition will open on January 19, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will run until February 23. The show includes a number of special events and lectures which are listed on the gallery website. The Collective Visions Gallery is open Tuesdays – Saturdays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
