Capture Brooklyn - Best in Show Award

I am delighted to report the my photo Coney Island Boardwalk, Brooklyn won the Best in Show Award in the New York Photo Festival Capture Brooklyn competition.  This photo was taken during a two-week trip that I took in the summer of 2009 and is part of my series Sidewalks of New York. The exhibition at the powerHouse arena includes over 130 photographs by 99 artists and runs through October 15, 2010.  It was juried by Michael Foley, founder of the Foley Gallery, Susanne Konig, director of the powerHouse Arena, Teresa Rad, director of art production at TBWA\Chiat\Day and Doug Rickard, founder of AmericanSuburb.com.
