Street Shots/NYC Exhibition

Although the South Street Seaport Museum sustained considerable damage on October 29 from super storm Sandy, it has reopened with the Street Shots/NYC exhibition which will be on display through April 5.

More than 5,000 images were submitted in response to the open call for this exhibition and the show will feature 150 images of contemporary NYC street photography by nearly 100 photographers. The exhibition was juried by Sean Corcoran, Curator of Prints and Photographs at the Museum of the City of New York, 

I'm delighted that my photo Coney Island Boardwalk, Brooklyn is included in the show. This image was previously awarded First Place Best of Show in the 2010 New York Photo Festival Capture Brooklyn Exhibition and was also was included in my Return to New York portfolio in Lenswork #97.
