Newspace Members' Showcase

My photo Mulberry Street, Manhattan from the series The Sidewalks of New York will be on display at the second annual Newspace Members' Showcase in Portland, OR at the Newspace Center for Photography from October 1 through October 31.  There will be on Opening reception on Friday, October 1 from 6-9pm.

Capture Brooklyn

Three prints from my series The Sidewalks of New York will be on display at the Capture Brooklyn exhibition as part of the Dumbo Arts Festival at the powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn, NY from September 23 through October 15.  The exhibition was juried by Michael Foley, founder of the Foley Gallery, Susanne Konig, director of the powerHouse Arena, Teresa Rad, director of art production at TBWA\Chiat\Day and Doug Rickard, founder of AmericanSuburb.com. Interviews with Michael Foley and Teresa Rad concerning the selection process are on the web. A video walk through of the exhibit is posted on vimeo.

(un)wrapped at Columbia City Gallery

I am delighted to have three prints, one each from Paris, Oaxaca and Shanghai, included in the Columbia City Gallery 5th Annual Juried Exhibit (un)wrapped in Seattle, WA.  The exhibition runs from September 22 to November 14 and was juried by Sam Davidson, Marita Dingus and Jen Graves.  There will be an Artist Reception September 25 from 5 to 8pm.

Connect/Disconnect at Larson Gallery

Four prints from my series One Thin Line will be on display in the Connect/Disconnect Exhibition at the Larson Gallery in Yakima. WA from September 14 through October 15.  The exhibition, which is curated by Cheryl Hahn, includes work by thirteen artists from the Seattle area who are members of the photography organization Group f/5.6.  The featured artists are Jan Bogle, Joan Bowers, Alex Brikoff, DeAnna Foran, Ron Hammond, Craig Alan Huber, Will Peterman, Chistopher Petrich, Stan Raucher, Diane Stefanich, Helen Todd, George Tuton and Bryan Willman.  The show explores questions of technology, communication and other social and cultural concerns.  There will be an artist reception on September 25 from 3:30 to 6:00 pm.
