New York Photo Festival HumanKind Exhibition

I'm delighted that my photo Mulberry Street, Manhattan is included in the New York Photo Festival HumanKind Exhibition.  The exhibition is at the PowerHouse Arena in Brooklyn, NY from December 17 through January 20.  The show was juried by James Estrin, Alisa Wolfson, Marc Prüst, Alfredo Cramerotti, Chistos Lynteris and Sam Barzilay.  

Note added on January 21:  The Humankind exhibition has been extended until February 6, 2011.  A slideshow of the Humankind Exhibition is now online.

Speak, Memory at Clarridge Gallery

Three prints from my Sidewalks of New York series are on display in the Speak, Memory Exhibition presented by Group f/5.6 at the Clarridge Gallery through January 28, 2011.  The exhibition was juried by Mark Vercammen and includes the work of nine photographers from the University of Washington Photographers Group.  The Clarridge Gallery is located in the Administration Building of East Shore Unitarian Church, 12700 SE 32 St, Bellevue, WA.  Gallery hours are 9-4:30 Monday - Friday and 9-2 on Sundays.  There will be an artist reception on January 26 from 7-9 pm.

Center for Photographic Art 2011 Juried Exhibition

I'm pleased to have my image Metro Line 1 near People's Square, Shanghai included in the Center for Photographic Art 2011 Juried Exhibition web gallery. The exhibition was juried by Ted Orland, Karen Sinsheimer, and Huntington Witherill who selected 48 images for exhibition at the CPA’s Sunset Center Gallery and 97 additional images for their on-line web gallery.  The exhibition runs from January 22 through March 31, 2011, with an opening reception on January 22 from 4 to 6 pm.

Photo Center NW Volume 4 Book

The Photo Center NW Volume 4 book is now available from Blurb.  This publication contains images by 72 photographers who are alumni, faculty, members, students, staff and volunteers of Photo Center NW.  A portion of the book may be previewed at Blurb.  I am delighted to have two images in the book. 

 

PCNW 15th Annual Members’ Show

I am pleased to have two prints from my Sidewalks of New York series in the Photo Center NW 15th Annual Members’ Show, which was juried by Crista Dix of Wall Space Gallery.  Crista did a wonderful job choosing a variety of compelling images by 29 photographers for the show.  The show runs from December 3 through January 15, with an opening reception on December 3 from 6-8pm.
